Philipp Kan is teaming up with the Kontrapunkt Hamburg office since June 2018 as Senior Project Manager.
As a seasoned expert for the Chinese and Asian market with many years of brand-and live communication experiences, Philipp leads the German contribution at the International Horticultural Expo 2019 Beijing, which will be organized by Kontrapunkt.
With his Chinese expertise, he will additionally support The Hamburg Summit: China meets Europe, the most important biennial business conference fostering the Sino-European relations in Europe. Kontrapunkt is servicing the conference since 2006.
Though his Chinese origin, Philipp is a true Hamburg lad and can show proof of more than 16 years of professional working experiences in China.
In his 10 years as marketing manager at Volkswagen in Beijing, he was responsible for many brand activations and sponsoring events in Greater China region.
Moving to internationally renowned experiential agency George P. Johnson, he served as program director for many global clients such as Volkswagen, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz or Montblanc.
In addition, Philipp has also extensive experiences in managing cultural- and sports events, such as the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, the tournament of the International Table Tennis Federation and the Atlantic Affair Tour of German artist Udo Lindenberg in Beijing and Shanghai.
