As of now Kontrapunkt will also be represented in Berlin. The inauguration of the office in the federal capital is a logical step taken by the Hamburg-based agency for live communications to expand its activities nationwide. Its presence in Berlin enables Kontrapunkt to provide its local clients more personalised services while at the same expanding its activities in Germany’s capital. Since the beginning of the year the marketing graduate and event manager, Andrea Aden-Mißner, has been in charge of the Berlin office.
The GQ Men of the Year Awards and the VDZ Publishers’ Night are just two of the many events Kontrapunkt regularly manages in Berlin. “Berlin is one of Germany’s premier event cities. In the past years we successfully staged a wide range of events for the political, business and media communities here. We have gradually made a name for ourselves in the region and the new office allows us to act more sustainably on site,” Harald Böttcher, Managing Director of Kontrapunkt, explains.
Andrea Aden-Mißner has proved to be an excellent choice. Die 39-year-old manager of the Berlin office can rely on some 15 years of experience in the event and hotel industry. After completing her studies and education in Munich and Bayreuth, the Wilhelmshaven-born trained hotel manager first held executive positions in the catering industry at Alois Dallmayr KG in Munich, InterContinental Hamburg and Süllberg, one of Hamburg’s top dining addresses. The marketing graduate last worked freelance for Kontrapunkt in Hamburg and Berlin where she was in charge of several event projects and managed sales and distribution at Bilfinger ProfiMiet Hamburg, an event service provider. “We have already realised a variety of successful projects with Andrea. She is an experienced project manager who will be an asset to our team and assist us in expanding our network in the capital,” beams Kontrapunkt’s Director Stefan Rössle.
