Kontrapunkt, the Hamburg-based live communications agency, is betting on international co-operation and the exchange of know-how to increase its presence on the international stage. By partnering with the Creative Collaborators, the agency has joined a worldwide network of event agencies, enabling it to enhance its service portfolio and offer its clients international expertise. “Our clients’ requirements are increasingly of a global nature. By becoming a partner of the Creative Collaborators, we are able to offer them a bespoke service tailored to their needs. The co-operation with agencies from all over the globe will benefit our clients as we will be working closely with them and manage the event production relying on the expertise of our local partner agencies,” explains Stefan Rössle, Managing Director of Kontrapunkt.
Access to International Expertise through the Creative Collaborators’ Network
The Creative Collaborators is a worldwide network of partner agencies that currently stretches across three continents and continues to expand. The Creative Collaborators’ network was es-tablished by Timebased Events Ltd, an event agency that, like Kontrapunkt in Hamburg, is in charge of staging the glamorous GQ Men of the Year Awards event in London every year. “The GQ Men of the Year Awards brought us in closer contact with Timebased and the idea formed of partnering with the Creative Collaborators to have a broader international presence. Today, we are able to offer our clients live event experience in many European countries, South Amer-ica or Asia whilst benefitting from the know-how of local partners. That is definitely a boon for our agency,” says Kontrapunkt’s Managing Director, Harald Böttcher.
Since its founding in 1989, Kontrapunkt has grown from a two-person agency to one of the top players in the German event industry. Apart from creating conceptions and staging events such as the GQ Men of the Year Awards, ZDF-Sommertreff [summer festival of Germany’s public-service television broadcaster], first deliveries of the A380 Airbus to various airlines, the Publishers’ Summit of Verband Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger [German Association of News Magazine Publishers] or the IAPH World Ports Conference 2015, the agency from Hamburg-Winterhude also offers expertise in participant management and public relations services. The two owners and managing directors, Stefan Rössle and Harald Böttcher, are assisted by a team of 20 professionals trained in conception, event and participant management, graphics and content creation as well as public relations who strive to make their clients’ live-event communication a success.
