At the event DIE ANSAGE at WECC Berlin the heads of the participants were smoking.

Kontrapunkt supported the German Council for Sustainable Development in developing four meaningful messages for the next SDG Summit. At 16 pitches and in four boot camps, more than 300 participants appealed, discussed and convinced.

Result – There is still a lot to be done if we want to achieve the climate targets. Not only in politics and business, but also in the behavior of all of us.

At the end of the official program, four final messages were selected by the guests with the help of a voting tool and then officially handed over to Dr. Ingolf Dietrich (Commissioner for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)) by Mrs. Marlehn Thieme (Chairwoman of the RNE) and Günther Bachmann (RNE Secretary General).

As part of the German delegation, Dr. Ingolf Dietrich promised to take them to the UN’s SDG Summit on 24-25 September in New York.

Of course, there was also a reward for so much commitment: KLAN, a German pop band, surprised with a selection of their current songs at the end. The two brothers produce German pop music: clear, critical, straightforward and emotional. And that’s why the two of them are fitting perfectly into the program of “DIE ANSAGE”: to face the questions of our time with openness, to lend weight to lightness and never to lose courage.
