200 years – that’s a word! And when a company with this tradition stays young and is excellently positioned for the future, it offers a real communication opportunity. Hermann Meyer KG did not want to miss this opportunity. They were looking for the best idea to present its capabilities, to thank loyal customers and to win new ones. Kontrapunkt accompanied the family business during the last two years with the conception and implementation of the anniversary event.

On August 29, 2019 the time had come. Around 1,000 invited guests celebrated in late summer weather on the company premises in Rellingen. In keeping with the anniversary motto “Everything under one hat”, a large white polygon was the focal point of the event area. The guests were seated on comfortable seating furniture such as garden benches, lounges and Hollywood swings. Food trucks and lovingly decorated beverage stations rounded off the setup.

In addition to the creative preparation, Kontrapunkt also took over the entire realization of the summer party. Since the event was to take place on the company’s own premises – without affecting day-to-day operations too much – many logistical and safety aspects had to be taken into account during the pre-production and set up.

Everything under one hat since 1819

Today, Hermann Meyer KG with over 6,000 products serves not only tree nurseries. Customers are also public enterprises as well as gardening and landscaping, production companies of the green sector and renowned research institutes. The family business, now in its seventh generation, is represented throughout Germany at six locations. Additionally, the company is based in three other European countries and serves more than 25,000 customers.
