Lufthansa and Airbus celebrate their partnership’s 40th anniversary with a world premiere: Back in February 1976, Lufthansa received its first Airbus A300. Starting now, Lufthansa is the first Airline which uses the new A320neo in its fleet. During the event in Hamburg, which was attended by approximately 700 honored guests and press representatives, Airbus once more counted on Kontrapunkt’s support, an event agency based in Hamburg.
The official opening speeches of Airbus’ CEO Fabrice Brégier, Lufthansa’s boss Carsten Spohr and Hamburg’s mayor Olaf Scholz were followed by an extraordinary light show. Shortly after, the curtains were raised for the new A320neo which stands out for its low fuel consumption as well as less noise emission.
